MAINTENANCE & SERVICE

MAINTENANCE_NEW-1536x256

We have the facilities and extensive experience to repair and maintain virtually any UPS brand including APC, Eaton, Meissner, Tescom, Tower, Mecer, Liebert, Delta and MGE to name just a few. Our technicians have been carefully selected and have received rigorous training with the necessary tools to problem solve in order to repair units down to component level. They have many circuit diagrams at their disposal and as a result Uptech has a very high repair success rate.

Our expertise includes repair, service and battery replacement on 3-phase and single phase UPS’s which are completed on-site.

Over the years we have established relationships with UPS companies abroad for technical support and spares. We also have access to many hard-to-find discrete components which we source from various suppliers globally. Maintenance contracts which include regular services of a UPS at varying time intervals according to the client’s requirements, are also provided.

Servicing a UPS:

It is important to service a UPS regularly, especially units that power critical loads in data centres. System damage and data loss can be prevented by servicing the UPS regularly. Since networks rely on the correct functionality of a UPS, the importance of maintaining it shouldn’t be under estimated. Often a user will discover that a UPS needs attention only once a power failure has occurred and this inevitably results in downtime.

Technicians at Uptech have often arrived at a site only to discover that a UPS has been running in bypass mode due to a fault or due to it being completely overloaded without anyone realising it.When servicing a UPS, our technicians will advise system operators on how to check that the UPS is running correctly.
